Our first llama baby has arrived!

Fun fact: llamas usually have their babies, known as crias, in the morning.

Miss Hazel? She prefers to keep things interesting.

Anyone who knows Miss Hazel knows she does things her way. A few years ago Lindsey checked the field at 2:00 & swears there was no baby. By 2:30? A cria was running around like it had always been there.

Ever since, it’s been a farm joke… and a true mystery.

Congrats to Miss Hazel who loves to keep us on our toes!🦙💚

A photo of Miss Hazel, our newest mama llama, and her baby girl. Both animals have a mix of dark brown and white on their faces with brown bodies. The baby is cute with huge llama ears!
