Accessibility On The Farm
What we mean by accessibility:
At Frog Pond Farm, we believe the farm should be a place where everyone belongs, because Frog Pond Farm Is For Everybody.
Accessibility, to us, means working to create an environment where as many people as possible can enjoy the farm, with or without assistance, regardless of mobility, sensory, cognitive, or environmental needs.
We are also honest about the fact that farms are complex environments. Uneven ground, changing weather, animals, and working agricultural spaces can present challenges. Because of that, accessibility at Frog Pond Farm is an ongoing commitment, not a finished project.
We are continually evaluating our spaces, listening to visitors, and making improvements that expand access and independence for more people.
Our goal is simple: to keep evolving the farm so that everybody can experience the joy of being here.
If you have questions about accessibility or specific access needs, please contact us! We are always happy to help plan your visit.

Parking
Marked accessible parking, including van-accessible spaces, is located at the top of our lot closest to the farm entrance. Our parking lot surface is gravel. The lot slopes downward toward the east, with a gradual uphill grade from the lower portion of the lot to the accessible parking area near the entrance.
Admission & Store Entry
Admission is primarily processed through our farm store upon arrival. The entrance consists of two manual french doors that swing inward. Doors are often propped open during business hours unless weather conditions require them to remain closed. The ticketing counter is 38 inches high. Staff use mobile Square devices to process digital payments, and team members are able to move around the desk to support completion of payments.
During busy times, we may open a second admission window outside the farm store. This window is 4ft tall. Entering through the farm store is always available for admission, even when the outside window is in operation.

Terrain and Pathways
Frog Pond Farm is a working farm, and our pathways reflect that natural environment and weather conditions. Pathways throughout the farm consist of loose gravel or wood chips.
As a working agricultural property, conditions such as terrain, weather, animals, and seasonal operations may affect accessibility.
About half of the farm open to visitors is located on the upper portion of the property, where the terrain is relatively flat. This area includes the Bounce Park, several animal pens, party tents, and spaces closest to the farm entrance and farm store.
Other areas of the farm are located downhill and are accessed by a gradual hill. These areas include additional animal pens and farm activities. Visitors should expect natural farm terrain, including uneven surfaces and changes in elevation.
If you have questions about navigating the farm or have specific access questions, please contact us ahead of your visit and we will do our best to help plan your experience.
Animal Interactions
Several animal pens are located on the upper portion of the property near the farm entrance.
Some animals can be fed through fence openings. Fence styles vary across the farm. Other animals, such as our camels, are fed using snack tubes approximately 5 ft high.

Service Animals
Frog Pond Farm is a dog-friendly destination! This includes pets and service animals trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability.
Bounce Park
Our Bounce Park is located in an enclosed barn in the middle of the farm. Fans that power the inflatables run continuously while the Bounce Park is in operation, creating a constant background noise.
The Bounce Park flooring is artificial turf, and all participants must remove their shoes before entering the inflatable area.

Sounds on the Farm
During your visit you may hear the sounds of roosters, sheep, goats, turkeys, peacocks, ducks, cows, and donkeys braying. If you’ve never heard a donkey bray before, you can click here to listen—it’s quite a sound!
Most of our animals are fairly quiet. Llamas and camels, in particular, are usually very gentle and polite with their sounds.
If you or someone in your group is sensitive to unexpected noises, knowing what to expect ahead of time can help make your visit more comfortable.
Bathrooms
All restrooms on the farm are portable units maintained by a third-party service provider. At least one ADA-compliant portable restroom is provided during normal operating hours. The total number of restrooms on site varies depending on the season and anticipated visitor volume.
Bathrooms are located in the middle of the farm year-round with additional bathroom locations added during the Pumpkin Patch season.
